I loved the idea of the book however i’m not sure on the execution. It was written well in terms of language and the book was very clear but the plot didn’t really get a chance to blossom. I enjoyed all the characters besides the mains, being Greer and Henry. I found their relationship to be extremely forced and adds nothing to the plot at all. I enjoyed the side characters and felt that their backgrounds and selves brought more to the story. The hunting aspect of this was a bit of a let down as I felt the side characters were given a lot to deal with however Greer was never really involved with anything yet ended up being the most upset by the situation she was in. The twist was really good and is what made this a lot better for me. It was surprising and I never saw it coming which I was impressed by. I hope she brings a lot more to the second one to really broaden the story and tie up some loose ends.
