This is one of my favourite books of all time.
I loved the plot, the characters, the pacing. It was perfect.
I loved the location - a big old house which gave my boarding school vibes. I loved the characters, and how different they all were and the intentions they had.
I felt for the main character, I was on her side throughout and was trying to work out the mystery alongside her.
The book follows a weekend of hunting, shooting and betrayal. Just from the blood on the front of the cover, I knew it would be an intense, mystery book which would be gripping. I was hoked the whole way through, I didn't lose any interest at all.
