I know the whole 'read it in one sitting' thing is a complete cliché, but for the first time in my life, I can actually relate.
I won the second book in the STAGS series from Readers First just last week so I had to buy this book in order for the second book to make any sense, and I am so glad that I did. This book was a fast-paced and easy read, but the plot was by no means simple. In fact, it was so brilliant, that I simply refused to stop reading until I was finished, despite my severely rumbling stomach.
The main protagonist was a funny and very relatable character who made me want to scream in frustration many times, whilst still liking her. The other characters, including the Medievals, had very intricate characters and the backstory and plot was all intricately crafted.
All in all, a fantastic read, and I would definitely recommend this book (and the next!) to every teenager or anyone who likes a good book in general.
