I've given this book three stars but it's definitely more of a three and a half star rating. I read this whole book in one day. It's not my usual kind of book but clearly it had me hooked from the moment I started reading. I liked the plotline. The twists and turns kept me guessing right until the very end. I liked how deep the cult went, that it wasn't just one group of kids. I also liked how the book was set out in sections for the huntin', shootin' and fishin'. I also really liked the role that films and their titles played in this book and how Greer could think of a film for almost every situation. The only things I didn't love about this book was that it revealed who had died near the beginning of the book rather than leaving it open. I'd have liked to have known someone had died, as Greer told us, but not who. But I liked the ending, how it was left as 'THE END?' - like in "Sherlock Holmes", which was mentioned by Greer - meaning that it could be continued, which I would quite like to see. I could see this storyline working well as a film.
