This book starts with the worst thing possible, the death of Richard & Juliette's 5 year old son. Juliette thinks he is still in the house and haunts it. Richard decided to dig in the garden for an old oak tree. Both are struggling with their grief but deal in different ways.
It seems a deep, dark and depressing book which i'm not sure how will end. It is probably not one I would choose to read as I think it would make me sad. The cover looks bleak.
