I have to be honest looking at the book it's probably not one I would of picked up it looks like an old fashioned style book to me.
But after reading the first chapter it sounds very good you have Richard and Juliet who have lost there 5 year old son and the descriptions of where they live and especially how they feel are so good. 'It's like Juliet is in physical pain' and after losing someone very close I can say that's how it honestley feels. She also feels Ewan is still in the house and she wants to invite a group called the 'beacons into see if this is the case. Sounds like a really good book and one I would actually read as they say never judge a book by its cover.
