Honestly, the cover is what first attracted me to this book: it’s simple yet really disconcerting. I wasn’t sure what to expect inside. Will it be a horror? A thriller? The initial descriptions of the countryside in winter a so evocative, I can feel myself standing there, and whatever has happened to this family sounds tragic from the start. I would love to know what happens next!!
