A very strange story

I must say that I found this to be one of the strangest books that I have ever read. It was not a very long story because the writing on each page was quite big so I managed to read the book quickly. This was not a problem because I do not like stories where the author sort of waffles on giving long descriptions of people and places. The author of this book seemed to get straight to the point very quickly. This length of story puts me in mind of some sort of folk tale that is passed on from one generation to the next.
The characters in the book seem very believable considering they have been through a really rough patch , both after their son`s death and what they went through before that with the little boy behaving very strangely. Although some of the plot seems a bit like folklore with what happened to the giant hair. The story ended on a weird note , making us wonder what happened next to the characters.
