A gripping read which keeps the reader intrigued from start to finish. The beautifully written story of how grief can disrupt life and how different it is for various characters makes empathy easy to feel. The supernatural elements add to the tension and grief of Juliette and Richard and the fast paced narrative at these times adds to the overall effect of a gripping read.
Beautifully written characters and a story that I couldn't put down kept me hooked from the very start to the very end. I found myself sympathetic for both Richard and Juliette. Both enveloping themselves in something to cope with the grief they feel, yet not really able to cope with the grief of the other, thereby sceptical of the others belief. Definitely a must read book.
