This story of a couple grieving for their son is dark and mysterious, but not as scary as I was expecting. It has its share of disturbing moments focussed around Ewan which I liked. It really does have a and definite fantastical vibe.
I must say I did not know what to expect from this book, and although I enjoyed it I am not even sure now what I read! It was beautifully written and quite lyrical in some of the description, but I was left feeling confused. I felt the story still had unanswered questions at the end. It is quite bizarre!
In summary, it is ok for a short, quick read, but be prepared for things to get a little strange! Thank you to @readersfirst for this copy to read and review.
