It was the cover of this book "starve acre" that pulled me in. Just from the cover I thought this would be a horror the description even further confirms my suspicion. It sounds devastating and sad, but atmospheric. Just from the synopsis I feel as if though this book- if not writing - at least the plot style will be similar to the author Stephen king. Just reading the synopsis has given me the creeps and I can see this turning into a twisted and somewhat perfect for this season of a psychological thriller. I don't particularly like the idea of ghosts so I don't really think this is going to be one I'm going to pick up myself but I will be looking forward to reviews as I personally am not a fan of the horror genre.
