This is a very creepy gothic type story and not one that I would normally read but I am glad that I did - it stays with you long after you have finished it and that is definitely the sign of a good book for me !
Its about a couple who live in a remote area and are grieving the loss of their son. Its a dark and strange story with flashbacks to when their son was alive and to the present when he is no longer with them there are lots of strange and very weird things happening - are they real or are the parents hallucinating ? The writing is beautiful and extremely haunting. Some of the characters are a little creepy too ! This is a short read and would be perfect to read in the Autumn as its a little spooky , it might keep you awake at night though ! It's an odd book especially the end which I was confused with but its one of those books that I am glad to have read and love to chat to people who have also read it to see if they thought the same as me .
