I wasnt sure what to expect with this book as the cover does not give much away. It is well written and very descriptive. The author sucks you into the story and makes it feel like your there. It has strong characters. The story has a dark feel to it from the very beginning and at times can be hard to follow, but stick with it and all becomes clear. The ending is strange and some what unexpected. All becomes clear in the final chapter and the front cover becomes more relevant to the story. I did not find this book exhilarating or edge of your seat stuff. However the more I read, the more i found myself wanting to know what happened next. It is not my usual kind of genre but I enjoyed it all the same.
