This book is based around a couple who are grieving after their young son died suddenly. They live in an old house called Starve Acre in a small village.
I don't normally read this type of book and thought I would try something different for a change.
It's a well written book and not too long but I found it a bit too weird for my tastes.
The wife seems to be really struggling to cope so she asks her neighbours, who are into the occult, to come and see if they can connect with her dead son.
Meanwhile, the husband is having some extremely bizarre goings on with a rabbit that’s dead one minute and full of life the next.
I'm still not totally sure what went on, it seems a bit supernatural and I found the last page totally bizarre.
Maybe I’m missing something but I didn’t really enjoy this book as I spent most of it baffled.
Sadly not for me but if you're interested in supernatural type books than you may enjoy this.
