The cover of this book is intriguing the loneliness of the central figure surrounded by snow and cold weather with trees on either side really draws you in to want to know more about them and why they are there. Having read an excerpt of the book it appears to be a fascinating story about a police detective set in 78/79 during the bleak winter. This book really grips you from the beginning and it is hard to put it down therefore I cannot wait to read the full thing as you never quite know what to expect. David Young is a great author and deeply researches the subject he is writing about which is evident throughout all his books. I really can't wait to read the full story.
