My first of any David Young books and I throughly enjoyed it. I will definitely be reading more of the Karin Müller/Stasi.
Stasi Winter is part of a series of books, but this did not detract from my enjoyment of it. The important facts from previous books are brought in seemlessly for the new reader to understand.
The author has tackled a difficult subject and seems to have researched the topics. The main character, Major Karin Muller is likeable and relevant.
The story follows Major Muller as she untangles a web of secrets and catches the criminals. Or does she?
The author has great descriptive writing skills which make the story captivating and moreish. A great suspense/crime/historical read.
