I enjoyed reading this book but as its part of a series I think I would have enjoyed it more if I had read the previous books. I feel I would have known more about the characters if I had. Saying that I enjoyed the storyline and it was a gripping read.
It is set in East Germany in the worst winter in one hundred years DDR Karin Miller having resigned is coerced to come back to solve a murder on the Island of rugen, a place she has been before.
It then begins a fast pace of adventure and gripping read to the end that I didn't want to finish and really enjoyed. Hopefully setting up for a 6th book in the series. I want to now read more of this series by David Young and will go back to the beginning.
