I was pleasantly surprised by this book. I was not expecting to enjoy it half as much as I did.
The pace was fast and furious and something was always happening and despite being in the middle of a series of books I didn’t feel like I was out of my depth or didn’t know what was going on.
I really loved all the characters and did not see what was going to happen at all. The ending has meant it is left open for another book in the series and I would definitely buy it.
I am also tempted to buy the first few as I really really enjoyed this book.
I will be lending it to my dad who is a massive world war enthusiast so I feel he would enjoy this post war look into Germany.
