The story swung from perspectives of the pursuers and the pursued, it was gripping break neck stuff , twists and turns by the bucket load . Well worth a read and thoroughly enjoyable , the plotline is totally believable, the characters and situations develop and progress through the book . It grips you as tightly as the snowy winter it is set in .the unravelling of the plans and the subterfuge of the authorities certainly keep you guessing and you need to read every line to understand the developments, the police have a human side amongst the investigations, while the old GDR and its oppressive nature rings through the plot and affects all the characters in various ways. I would heartily recommend this book
