Sadly I just couldn't engage with this one. I really really wanted to, so I don't know if it just wasn't the right time for me to be reading it. Or maybe it wasn't for me after all.
The setting and plot themselves were incredibly promising, so I'm disappointed that it didn't grab me. As I said, maybe my mindset wasn't there for this read. It wasn't a case of outright not liking it; instead I found myself losing interest, not being bothered about how the story progresses, how the plot changed etc.
On the whole, I would say to not let my review sway you! I can only be honest, which isn't always easy, and in this instance, it didn't hit the mark for me. It may be more of a success for you though :)
