This novel was quite good. I thought the description of the bleakness of the snow and the surrounding landscape to be really good and gave you a good feeling of being there. The storyline was good too and pulled you in - there were a few twists and turns although it wasn't 'edge of your seat ' writing. This novel was a good read. I liked the writing as it did draw you in and make you think .. and feel a bit like the main character - it made you wonder a little about what you would do in the same situation ( would you risk your life to do your job ? Especially with two young children at home ) l know l wouldn't but it was a dilemma faced by the main character. Although not a page turner l do think l would read a book by this author again
