David Young first broke into the cold war thriller scene with his debut - Stasi Child. His debut novel saw the introduction of Oberlieutenant Karin Müller, whom we have since followed through Young's Stasi Series.
Throughout the series we have witnessed her personal and professional struggles as she rebels against the Stasi in her efforts to find justice, whilst battling both the demons from her past and the obstacles of her present.
Young keeps giving us new insights to Müller life and the lives of those living in East Germany throughout the 70's, with the gritty, harsh reality that so many had to face.
I am hoping this is not the last we see of Karin Müller, however the development that Young puts into each of his characters, lends itself to many other potential viewpoints and storylines.
