I hadn't heard of the Karin Muller series before so being introduced to it by Readers First was both a blessing and a curse. It's well written, the scenario is a bit 'unusual' but equally interesting and I personally liked the 'Orewlian' aura of the era. It was, however, a real shame that I started the series from the 5th book. It's not quite a standalone book as frequent references are made to past cases which I'm sure I'd enjoy more if I had a point of refernece from the prequels. There are also things that I read which would act as spoilers if I were to go back and start the series from the beginning. So based on this book I would definitely recommend the series but in the right order. Thank you to Readers First for the free copy
