Another stellar book by David Young, after reading the first installment 'Stasi Child' - I was hooked into the investigations of People's Police Officers Karin Muller & Werner Tilsner. Karin Muller returns in 'Stasi Wolf' fresh after the events in 'Stasi Child' where it involved the death of teenagers close to the Berlin Wall. After much involvement with Stasi Officer Klaus Jager, it has left a sour taste in her mouth in regards to her dealings with the Stasi. Muller, who is sidelined from the murder squad in Berlin due to her actions at the end of Stasi Child, jumps at the chance to be sent south to Halle-Neustadt where she is recommended by Stasi Officer Jager. With a personal involvement in the investigation due to her own personal circumstances in aborting her twin babies earlier in her life, Karin is determined to seek justice for the parents and find the culprit and bring them to justice. Already looking forward to reading 'A Darker State'
