This book cover certainly caught my son's eye when I presented it to him - the design is really appealing. He found it very attention grabbing and it seemed to be very well designed for the younger reader. Once he started reading he really enjoyed the accessible, modern language that he said felt genuine to him. He told me that he thought the story line was good. I was pleased that the book appeared to hold his attention for a reasonable amount of time. It is not always easy to encourage young boys to read and I felt that 'Steady For This' was appealing and inviting for young male readers. It was not a particularly challenging read but it did entertain him and kept him off the screen for a few hours. This is a very very good thing in my book and I am really pleased. I would be interested in checking out more of Nathanael Lessore's books and perhaps purchasing them for my children in the future. This book would be a good addition for the school library.
