Wow, this book was something else. It really spoke with the language of a teenager and this is missing from a lot of books aimed at teenagers. I could imagine my neighbours kids talking the way this book is written and it was a fantastic way to tell the story. It was a very emotional read for me, I truly felt where Shaun was coming from with his feelings. It was a really funny read - it was like you were watching the roamnce side of things all go wrong for it to go right in the end. I really think that this book would be very good as a short film - it certainly read like one. I think this might be the modern version of Adrian Mole as it has the same kind of vibes to it. The messaging behind the story - oh it was good! It's not about the money and the fame, but the support and love that you surround yourself in and I just loved reading it. Idid like how Shaun does bat down his peers when they were being nasty, it is a very good message! Definitley reccomend for teenagers!
