I started this book in the garden thinking I’ll read a chapter or two and just kept going.I did like the way it flowed and the main character was warm and believable. I went way back to my school day albeit a different era but the feel of wanting to belong and be part of the group and doing the right thing. It’s fun the way we all want to be in the limelight to impress and will do anything to achieve this. The heartache and the lovely way this story flows any age could read this book and be very aware of the need to be recognised and part of the group. It’s funny heartwarming and with clever characters it’s a real good read. I passed this on to my teenage grandaughter and she loved it too. She said she could understand the story and the characters who she said were warm and could identify friends very similar! Great sunny afternoon read with excellent characters.
