I was drawn in by the front cover which I thought was both intriguing and atmospheric. I think this was mirrored in the first impression and I was quickly enveloped in the story. I am intrigued to discover what happens next to the main protagonist and I am especially interested to discover how the backdrop of the war will influence his journey.
