A naïve young artist falls in love in war torn Berlin. Unfortunately, he doesn't realise that his girlfriend is Jewish and living under an assumed name until she returns home having been beaten up. Throw in some mysterious connections with the hated Gestapo and suddenly there seem to be far more questions than answers.
