From the first moment of reading the description for this novel, I was already moved. From reading the extract, I have found it delightful to see how Würger has carefully crafted his novel to allow the reader to learn about Friedrich's interests as well as his family through the use of specific details. These details create very unique and complex characters that seem extraordinarily human; it is almost as if you are befriending them in real life. I can't wait to read the rest of this novel, it is utterly intriguing.
