I was captured early in reading the first impressions. The author has given clear descriptions setting scenes in a way that’s easily followed and allows you to imagine just what friedrick is like and the childhood experiences he’s facing, it’s almost like you could be watching a movie. The first few chapters provide a setting for pre world war Germany and in the description of the parents you get an idea of it’s affects. I’d love to read the rest of the story and see how it develops into a love story and of course meet Stella. I think there maybe a lot packed into this book but given first impressions think it will be easy to follow providing a gripping and compelling story!
