So as soon as I started this book, I really liked it, didn't have to wait for me to get into it as straight away, the authors style of writing was gripping.

A really good story, based on true events, which made it more 'enjoyable' to read, although some parts are sad.

I especially enjoyed at the beginning of each chapter to state world events that happened, made it even more real, as some events are well known to people, so one could relate to that.

The whole story line was very thought out and a good read.

However, every so often would be a small paragraph of fact (don't want to spoil it with saying what it was about) and I felt the way it was written could have been written more warmly considering what it was referring to.

I also had a problem with the ending (and so did my daughter who I gave to read it) as I didn't totally understand why it ended like that.

The book was a story in itself, but before reading it, it seemed to be quite short at around 200 pages, and I would think an average book would have around 300 pages.

All in all though, it was a pleasant read, and I would recommend it.
