This was definitely an intriguing book to read, and although it was not quite what I expected it was still and interesting book to read. It was full of twists and turns, which were interesting to read about them.
The two main characters were both complex and not quite what they seemed to be. It was interesting to discover more about them, and I was quite shocked in some parts by what was revealed. The character of Stella is based on a real person, and it was interesting to read a few details about her life after the book in the author's note.
The writing style flowed nicely and was easy to follow and read. The chapters were fast paced, each set in a month of 1942, so I flew threw this book and finished it quickly. It is also quite a short book at around 200 pages.
