I really liked the approach this book took from the first pages alone. The Maiden, the Mother and the Crone are really interesting characters for me, and I’m excited to see how they’ll play into the rest of the book. I loved Isabelle’s character already; flawed but only as she tries to do what’s best for her family. Really interesting new take on the classic Cinderella story!
