The cover to this book is stunning, The use of a darkened background with a shattered slipper gives a great contrast and a sneak(y) peak into the book as it really did all start with a slipper!
I really like the premise of this book, it's a new take on the classic fairytale, coming at it from a different angle. What happened to the ugly sisters once Cinderella married the prince? Are we in control of our own fates, or can we change them?
I do find the writing to be a little staggered which can make the flow a little more difficult to follow but the idea is refreshing and feels original.
