The sneek peak of this book has grabbed my attention already!
The first chapter is intriguing, the three woman making maps of people’s lives and Chance coming to steal one. Whose map has he stolen and what will happen?!
We then focus on the point of view of Isabelle, one of the step-sisters of Cinderella. These chapters are quite dark and creepy (even gruesome at times!) but we get a good idea of Isabelle’s character and how indeed her mother is the wicked stepmother!
Isabelle seems to be a bit of a lost soul, not knowing her place or value in society and doing exactly what her mother tells her to do. I’m intrigued to see how this progresses as there seems to be a very strong side to her and how will this all links up to Chance, the stolen map and the three women from the beginning!
