Cute but deadly
This book is a clever retelling of a classical tale. In the realm of Liz Brasswell, another author who retells Disney tales, this book has a very witty tone from beginning to end. The opening prologue is clever yet has tones of a very feminine victim. and though I understand the book is about a female protagonist, it would be interesting to see the vulnerability of a man portrayed.
The cover is original and yet still an adaptation and really allows the aesthetic freaks out there (myself included) enjoy the art work.
