I love fairytale retellings and re-imaginings so was interested in this as soon as I read the summary. However, I didn't expect to be quite so blown away by the first few chapters. The writing is smart, fast-paced and instantly creates characters who the reader can connect with, vividly evoking them in just a few small details. I loved meeting the Fates and Luck/Chance in the prologue, then Isabelle and her sisters in the first chapter. I can just tell that I'm going to love this!
