I was not ready for the First Impression to end as I was becoming really absorbed in the story. So far little new but I was really pleased to see the far more "Gothic" version of Cinderella being given an airing where the "ugly Sisters" mutilate themselves to try and trick the Prince in to marriage. I also liked the mingling of Greek mythology with the three fates weaving their intrigues and the dashing, daring raid of Chance on their palazzo.
Really looking forward to getting my hands on this book.
