The "Step Sister" caught my eyes right away. I was always curious to know what really happens beyond the happily- ever- afters of the fairy tales. This is the first book I have read amongst the books Jennifer Donnelly has written.It's an impossible-to-ignore book.
The plot was unpredictable and suspenseful. The characters' personality and traits were interesting and fascinating.Particularly Isabelle's character was unexpected,though she was doing something wrong she was battling with her inner voice,she expressed remorse for the wrong she was about to commit which shows that she isn't the heartless person I thought she was.The mixture of various emotions in this story was beautiful.
I highly recommend this book- which contains a beautiful story-to all the bookworms.
