Really looking forward to this book but I found that it wasn’t quite what I was hoping for. I didn’t understand half of what was happening and the times that I did weren’t enough to keep me reading. I’m a big fan of retwllings so I thought it would be great for me but it just didn’t have the flare that I was expecting. Having said that I have heard a lot of other people liking it so I think it may just be down to me and my likes and dislikes that it wasn’t a book for me. I did love the look of the book and that made it so much harder when I found it wasn’t for me. I would give another try but I just know it’s not for me. The classic saying ‘it’s not you, it’s me’ Love twisted fairy tales but I don’t think this is my one unfortunately
