Wow, I always love to read retellings of fairytales and different takes on them, the first look of this book was so descriptive and makes me want to read the whole book, the way the author describes what the girls do to themselves and how they feel is amazing, I’d buy the book right now if I could.
It’s a different take to the Cinderella story we know, it’s not about poor Ella - or nicknamed Cinderella - and her horrible life with her stepsisters, it’s a story about her stepsisters, Isabelle and Octavia, mainly Isabelle, which is a very interesting approach.
The chapters in the first look are already so different from the story we all know, the princes looks, what the sisters do to force their foot into the glass slipper, it’s very different with a hint of darkness and gore.
