I really enjoyed this retelling. Cinderella isn’t my favourite but I found this to be a refreshing retelling!
I loved the inclusion of the fates and chance and their argument about the stepsisters. I enjoyed that it started with the Cinderella story I knew and then expanded on what happened after Cinderella left with the Prince. I really liked the portrayal of the stepsisters and how they were made to be brave and intelligent.
I found that I was invested in the story, I loved the action and the high and lows of the plot. I even enjoyed the little romance that was in the book which is unusual for me. I enjoyed the range of characters. I just really enjoyed the whole story and I would happily read it again.
