First of all I have only read the first few chapters so don't think everything I say is final !!!!!!!
I think everyone loves a retelling of a fairy tale, however after a while they can become a bit tiring. However this isn't a sweet Disney channel retelling, it's completely different. The plot revolves around one of Cinderella's step sister, a point of view no one has really considered before, creating a unique twist.
Obviously, everyone knows how Cinderella goes so it can be hard to make it more original and really shock the reader. I think that it is perfect to force the reader to consider someone else instead of the main character for once.
The prologue is a bit confusing but probably comes into play later and is more relevant then.
I'm intrigued and want to know more, so if you like thrilling page-turners, I would recommend trying this book out.
