I absolutely loved this! It starts in an amazing different setting to really give the book a unique feel as it retells the story of Cinderella
I enjoyed the fact that the author had decided to keep main aspects of the story while adding their own little twist to it. Making it so easy to read and recognise that it is indeed a retelling of the classic fairy-tale. I couldn't believe how easy it was to read through the opening chapters.
The way the writing had me feeling bad for the character of Isabella is honestly amazing. All the characters in this book were wonderfully written and gave a new perspective on the story which once focused of the bright eyed Cinderella.
The character of the step-mother is written so well and she is even more sinister in this version of the story. I love it!!!
