I loved it
This is the first (and only) book of this kind I've ever read. It took me a while to get into, but once I did I loved it!
It tells the story of Cinderella, but in a new and re-imagined way, showing a different side to the 'ugly' step-sisters, and telling their story after Cinderella rides off into the sunset with her Prince Charming. I really wasn't sure that I would like this book changing parts of what could be considered a classic, but the writing in this is so good and so convincing that I ended up totally buying into it and enjoying the story.
I also think that the message the author is trying to get across by showing girls that it's okay to want something different is a super important and relevant one, so kudos for that!
