The prologue is really amazing , and acts as a good set up for the book ,the writing is impeccable and it's hard to not want to read more.
The way this classical story is taken from a different point of view allows the reader to root for what is traditionally seen as the villain for a change and is very refreshing to see the author's take on the step sister's mindset.
The prologue and opener, sets the story up very nicely and allows the reader to guess what will happen in the story while still leaving that element of suspense that comes with picking up a new book.
This book seems truly fascinating and the writing makes it very hard not to want to read it.
The cover is also incredible as it depicts the glass slipper front he original story , paying homage to the original version of Cinderella but having the heel of the shoe look as if it is shattered.
