I really really liked this book! It was such a fresh concept to look at one of the villains. I enjoy realistic depictions of well-known fairy tales. The majority of the villains have to have some origin story, or redeeming qualities which proves that they aren't pure evil. This book sets up the story so well and I enjoyed the world-building. On top of that, there are so many great quotes from this book because it is so poetic. This book really showed the "ugly" side of a fairy tale protagonist and proved that there is absolutely nothing wrong with it. In reality, it provided so much depth to our protagonist and her relationships (including the romantic ones ;)) She also didn't put girls up against each other in her writing. In no way was Cinderella painted as the villain! The book over all just gave really great, powerful vibes coming from the stepsisters. I would totally recommend it.
