I was so glad to have received this book as it became one of most anticipated deliveries this month! I always love a good retelling of the princess stories since I was never a fan of the animations (I'm sorry I just don't like animations - but I love reading about them and watching live-actions versions). This book was no different! Firstly, I loved the writing and found it so easy to fall straight into the book! I couldn't put it down at all. Being able to find out some more about a part of the story, a story we all know so well, that perhaps would not cross our mind was so amazing. I thoroughly enjoyed every page of this book. I cannot wait to read some more by Jennifer Donnelly! Thank you!
