This is a real page turner about Isabelle – step sister of Cinderella (Ella). The story revolves about Isabelle’s search for her heart as she tries to make amends for her treatment of Ella prior to her attendance at the ball which leads to her becoming Queen. It fairly rattles along and with one and two page chapters is a book that is hard to put down! It argues that there is more to beauty than being pretty as Isabelle seeks redemption through her bravery, kindness and love for her friend Felix and also her love of her horse Nero. She is given the task of finding the missing pieces of her heart as undertakes to change her “map of destiny”. It has a great plot and storyline and keeps you guessing until the end of the book. The story looks to be aimed at the target audience of young adults / teens but it is a book that will entertain all ages. Would love to see the story adapted for a movie / TV series!
